DIY Jigging Assist Hook With ASARI Kevlar Hollow Braid

How to used the Asari Kevar Hollow Braid. This kit able you to make you own assist jigging hooks custom to you. The ASARI Hollow Braid comes in 3 sizes 110lb, 140lb and 180lb. It contain 5meter of hollow braid and a threader tool.


What ever size you choose, the method of making you custom assist Hook is the same.
Step 1:
To make the loop.
Cut a length of hollow braid, depends on your jig length and how long you want the DIY assist hooks. Insert the threader tool at Tag B and out almost half way on the whole length.

Step 2:
With the tool end expose, hook Tag A. and pull the tool as suggested above image to form the loop.

Step 3:
With The loop form, removed the threading tool.

Step 4:
Insert the Assist hooks as shown.

Step 5:
With the Assist hook inserted, align the hollow braid tag away from the hook band as shown above.

Step 6:
Lastly wrap the hook shank with dental floss and apply super glue. Once dry it ready to used.
Optional you can used fine mono instead of dental floss

Thailand Bangkok Shadow Lake Fishing pond (Sept 2010) Caught several big Mekong catfish. Have a good time fishing. Bait used was bread mixed on a 30lb spinning reel and rod outfit. My friend caught a Giant Siamese Carp (Lucky guy)


Siamese carp are easily spook and not easily caught.
